The challenge:
Ria Shah, Founder of RiACTIVE had the same struggle as many Indian women: every time she reached for a tank top, she had to compromise. With many challenges like -the fits being off, the fabrics that dint last after a couple of washes, finding that sweet spot of the tank that moves with your body and sits perfectly on your body became the mission. Tired of wearing oversized fits and lack of better options, a simple but powerful question struck: What if a tank top could make women feel tall, confident, and beautiful—without sacrificing comfort or performance?
That question became the starting point of RiACTIVE.
How are RIACTIVE’s tank top different?
Our community has been our biggest supporter before launching the designs. Through surveys, sample testing, and feedback, we uncovered a gap: women wanted tanks that drew attention to their shoulders and collarbones rather than their midsection.
So, RiACTIVE re-engineered the tank top:

- Curvease fabric: A buttery blend of polyester and nylon brushes that feels luxe like international brands but stays affordable. Plus, it’s tested through multiple washes and stress checks so the fit and color last wear after wear.
- Fresh designs: Bold, minimal, and elevated styles that you won’t find elsewhere in the Indian market.
This wasn’t just another tank – it became a movement-first essential for women who wanted to feel stylish and secure while working out, running errands, or simply living their day.
The response so far?
Since launching, RiACTIVE’s tank tops have quickly become everyone’s favourite. They’ve resonated not just because of how they look and feel confident. Customers often share how the tanks give them the confidence to ditch the oversized tee, move freely, and even rediscover their love for working out.
Going forward
For RiACTIVE, this is just the beginning.
